Sunlens Service provides comprehensive sunglass lens replacement, upgrade and customization services for classic, vintage, designer and luxury eyewear frames. 

We are a handcraft business based in Berlin, specialized in replacing old lenses of your sunglasses with lab crafted sunglass lenses in any color, any style.

This is how it works:

1. Browse through our lens collections and choose a pair of lenses you like.
2. After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation together with our shipping label (free shipping within Germany). Pack your glasses securely in a box and hand it in at any DHL service point.
3. We will cut and fit your new lenses into your frame and send it back to you.

Upgrade UV 420 will maximize the UV-protection of your lenses from 400nm (what is known as 100% UV protection) to super high UV protection of 420nm.

Usually you will get your finished glasses back within 1 - 2 weeks after we have received them at our workshop - in rare cases it can take a little longer, depending on your order, the construction of your frame and where you placed the order from. In any way, we will keep you up to date throughout the process.

In order to replace the lenses of your sunglasses, it must be technically possible to remove and remount the lenses of your glasses. This usually works for about 98% of all frames.

There are very few cases where its not advisable- or possible to replace the lenses of your sunglasses.

1. Single-piece lens: Certain designs require special lenses that we may not have in stock or do not carry. E.g. that includes glasses with a visor-like single-piece lens or extremely curved lenses.

2. Weakness of material: Materials, such as plastic and acetate can become hard and brittle over time. Should we have any concerns in this regard, we will of course contact you in advance.

We handle all kinds of brands: Ray Ban, Gucci, Prada, Christian Dior, Tom Ford, Burberry, Cazal, Persol, Oliver Peoples, Garret Leight, Dita... and many others.

We do offer small repair services, such as replacing screws and nose-pads as well as fixing bent frames and temple arms. Repair costs can be estimated and invoiced individually.
